Our Mission

Our mission is to give everyone an opportunity to be part of a Guinness World Record attempt and receive a Guinness World Record certificate.

Event Day Check-In

Check-in time: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Record attempt begins: 2:00 PM
Check-in location: Main gate
Volunteers will be at the main gate to direct participants where to go.
Each participant will receive a section and number when they sign in.
After signing in, participants will be directed to their assigned section.
Rain date: Sunday, October 11, 2026

Partner Information

You do not need to sign up with a partner ahead of time. Some participants will arrive with someone they plan to throw with, while others will find a partner at the event.

If you do not have a partner when you arrive, there will be a section for participants who still need to pair up.

Baseballs and softballs only

Event Rules Reminder

This is a family-friendly community event. Political apparel, signs, banners, flags, hats, shirts, or other political display items are not allowed.

Anyone bringing or wearing prohibited items may be asked to remove them, return them to their vehicle, or may be refused entry.

Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not follow event rules, creates a disruption, or presents a safety concern.

Share Your Pitch & Catch Story

A Facebook page will be available for participants to share photos and videos of their teams, travel, and event-day experience.

Watch for updates from the organizers with Facebook page information and additional event details.

Prizes & Giveaways

Prizes are planned for categories such as farthest traveled, youngest pair, oldest pair, coolest jersey, and more.

Gift certificates from many Central Illinois restaurants are also planned as part of the event giveaways. Prize categories and giveaway details may be updated by the organizers before the event.
