What to Bring

Bring your own glove. Only a baseball or softball may be used. No tennis balls, wiffle balls, or substitutes.

Need a Partner?

You do not need to sign up with a partner. Some people will arrive with someone they plan to throw with, and others will find a partner at the event.

Event Day Check-In

Check-in will be open from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the main gate. Volunteers will be there to direct participants where to go.

Each participant will receive a section and number when they sign in. After signing in, participants will be directed to their assigned section. The record attempt begins at 2:00 PM.

Event Location

The event will be held at Rantoul Family Sports Complex, located at 744 Murray Rd, Rantoul, IL 61866. The complex has parking for over 900 vehicles on site. Phone: 217-893-5732.

Amenities include 8 fields, a splash pad, concessions, toilet facilities, food trucks, and more. When traveling to the event, please carpool when possible to help reserve parking and reduce traffic on event day.

Family-Friendly Event Rules

Political apparel, signs, banners, flags, hats, shirts, or other political display items are not allowed. Anyone bringing or wearing prohibited items may be asked to remove them, return them to their vehicle, or may be refused entry.

Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not follow event rules, creates a disruption, or presents a safety concern.

Prizes, Giveaways & Sharing

Prizes are planned for categories such as farthest traveled, youngest pair, oldest pair, coolest jersey, and more. Gift certificates from many Central Illinois restaurants are also planned as part of the event giveaways.

A Facebook page will be available for participants to share photos and videos of their teams, travel, and event-day experience. Prize categories, giveaway details, Facebook page information, and event updates may be shared by the organizers before the event.
